To bad there is nothing older then 1920 here. I am either 500 years old or 500 years young.
I am a visual artist who is into music. I have my artist career and teach in a college in New York. I work a lot--both my studio work and commissions outside of NY, so I have to travel all the time. However, as soon as I have time, I will be sitting in front of my piano. I am looking for a music friend who plays Violin (the best, any string instrument) to play duet for fun. This is the worst area that I have to fill in “so much” word. I resemble nobody. I am a “foreigner” here; I am a foreigner even in my own country back then. I am not trying to be different—I have enough trouble from that—particular when I was in China—but I was not born to be the same—I guess in deep side, everyone is like that. Talking about other interesting person, I have a lot, one of them came to my mind right now is “pianist” Glenn Gould, my interest of him is not just I play music instrument and like his music, but also he is one of most creative personals embodied in the outfit of a pianist.
I am looking for someone to play music together. An amateur musician, or a professional musician. My piano level is about intimidate. someone plays instrument particularly string instrument will be better, Piano is fine, we can both play piano four hands as well.
I am looking for some one is not into superficial things. We are so far away from tangible world these days, everything is readymade, even music and art. I am not old fashion, but socially conscious about what surround us. I would like to meet someone who is creative, have a critical mind but with a big heart.
