I have a busy but fulfilling life, and I love what I do each day.
I'm a very curious person, and I love learning about new things, especially different cultures and ways of life. I enjoy reading, painting, taking photographs, cooking, watching films, traveling, being in nature, and hanging out with my friends.
In terms of a relationship, I am looking for a partner who shares my lifestyle and perspective on life and wants to develop it further with me. Shared hobbies are great, too. As far as character traits, I mesh best with people who are supportive, balanced, conscientious, and open-minded. These are qualities that I see in myself that I would like to have in a partner as well.
Overall, I value my loved ones, learning, the arts, enjoying life, taking care of oneself, and being creative and passionate.

I recently moved to New Jersey to start my Ph.D in art history; I'm specializing in post-World War II photography, film, popular culture, and mass media.
Previously, I lived in Brooklyn, and I still go to the city and/or Philadelphia once a week or so. I may move back to Brooklyn within a year, after I finish some more of my school requirements.
Also, I've made a few lifestyle improvements in the past couple of years, and I am looking forward to making more.  I took a meditation class last winter, and I will probably take a Qigong class this summer. Reading about food, health, and Chinese medicine is one of my hobbies.
