I'm a Shakespearean-trained actress who teaches math as a day job... Go figure...
In terms of hobbies? I love to go to the theatre and to movies; one of my favorite things to do is to go read or work in a good coffee shop, where I'm surrounded by interesting people (and coffee!); I frequent the gym, well, frequently.
I love science fiction/fantasy, but don't read as much for pleasure anymore as I'd like! And I love to take classes and learn new things, but I sometimes need a push to get out the door and out of my comfort zone - once I'm there I love it!
I'm quite driven, sometimes to a fault - I want to take more time to be creative, and to connect with other people! Funny how I'm in such an expressive field, and yet I feel like I'm just now starting to acknowledge that I have my own voice, and valuable things to contribute artistically.
I'm told I look like Michelle Pfeiffer, or Julia Stiles when I'm particularly excited or bubbly - I'll take it! I guess people first notice my "stature," as I'm relatively tall, but I also come across as a strong and confident woman. My eyes and angular features get noticed as well.
I'm looking for someone to go get coffee with, to hike with - just another person to get to know and with whom to connect. Someone who makes me laugh, but who can also challenge me intellectually, with new ideas and creative perspectives on the world. Yes, ideally a romantic "match", but would truly just love to meet new people!
