People describe me as funny & laid back but passionate. Actually I think the most common description is "smart-ass". I'm told I’m more attractive in person but I think that's just because I'm confident, down-to-earth & funny which makes up for my dorky looks. I’m a business professional, into technology and although I can be intense & passionate about the right things, I’m usually just very laid back and I like to be happy & silly 24/7. I also try to make honesty one of my defining traits. I love who I am, but I’m a work in progress. Like everyone, I have my faults, but I’m willing to open my eyes to them and work on them. I’m constantly trying to improve myself, but slow & steady wins the race. “Progress, not perfection.”
* Chivalry isn’t dead: I learned from my father, who’s been happily married to my mother for 55 years now, how to treat a lady. So I enjoy going far out of my way just to be old-fashioned and make a woman feel special. On the other side of the coin, I crave a woman who’s confident but submissive and uninhibited & lewd in the right setting. When it comes to romance, I like to play the dominant role & if a woman doesn’t melt in my arms when I kiss her, then something’s not right. Those are important little things we do to define our manliness & femininity in order to enhance romance & attraction, but in real life I’m looking for an equal.
* My big passions: Animals (I love dogs, especially big ones, but over the last 6 years, I've developed a fascination for cats & now have some of my own), nature (boating, fishing, hiking, motorcycles, etc), volunteering, music, theater & Buckeye football.
* If trying to be happy & silly, ESPECIALLY in stressful situations is something you're not comfortable with, we might not get along. I'm looking for someone who is emotionally stable, intelligent and open minded. Someone who’s ready to work through the hard parts of a relationship, as well as enjoy the great parts. I believe a great relationship involves introspection, ability to admit fault and a desire for personal growth. I love culture & diversity and I'm open to all types of people (female) and relationships, but I try to avoid selfishness, jealousy, drama or anything that isn't going in a healthy & positive direction. I was the baby of 6 by 8 years, so I was naturally a spoiled & selfish person and I’ve been working very hard for a long time to be less self-centered. Because of that, selfishness is a big turn-off for me. I’m far jealous. I believe jealousy is simply insecurity, which is a selfish emotion. I won’t judge you for what you’ve done or where you’ve been. I only care how those things have made you who you are today. I expect the same in return. I believe that no matter what happens in life, it’s how you deal with it and how you learn & change that really matter.
* I try to work out at least every other day. I started running last year for several months but I've been really bad this summer. Although I've been very active, I haven't been in the gym and I've been eating like a pig so I gained a bunch of weight back. Now I'm back in my running shoes & I'm on a mission. I'm not looking for a workout buddy but I do want the person I'm with to at least have a desire to improve. I try to eat healthy, organic & raw, but I know how to splurge; too often I find myself in a drive through.
