I am an intovert who can pose fairly convincingly as an extravert when needed. I am a very serious scholar/author who never tires of puns or double entendres. Raised Jewish in New York, I am now an atheist in the mid-South. I am an avid listener to classical music (Beethoven, Mozart, Dvorak are favorites), although I can't play a note. I've read way too many books (mostly nonfiction) to pick one favorite (in fiction, I have enjoyed Tolstoy, Dickens, Mary Renault, Philip Roth). I value intelligence, logic, honesty, creativity, compassion, and try to manifest those in my own behavior.
I'm about the same height as Napoleon, but somewhat less aggressive. I've been compared most often physically to Richard Dreyfus, Woody Allen, Bob Balaban, Billy Crystal. My eyes are most distinctive, if they can be glimpsed through my spectacles. I am neither the least nor the most attractive of men.
The ideal woman would be highly accomplished in academia or the arts, laugh readily, eschew all dogmas. Physically, I am always drawn to a pretty face and displeased by obesity. Smoking, heavy drinking, drug injection, and overt madness are turnoffs. I am open to relationships of any degree of intensity.
