I'm complex. I would not be happy living in a condo in the middle of town. I love living in the country and nature; but close to civilization (library, restaurants, grocery, book stores). I'm more of a horse person than a dog or cat person. I'm interested in most anything. Love cruising and traveling by car to explore the US, especially National parks. I've visited all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Want to travel the Chunnel, see volcanoes in Hawaii, cruise through the Panama Canal, and visit Australia still. I'm honest, loyal, an avid reader, an early riser. Love to cuddle. Not looking for casual sex, I need committment first on both sides. I need alone time but need affection and attention from my man and like to give it. I like to cook, but not always. Like trying new restaurants. Definitely NOT a vegetarian (from Midwest cattle country) and like spicy things. I think having your best friend for your partner is the ultimate goal.
I'm tall (5'7" , big, with waist-lenght auburn hair. I'm reserved and shy until you get to know me. Then I have a wicked, punny sense of humor that many don't appreciate, or even get. I have a strong personality and can be intimidating. I believe trust and respect get earned. Appearance isn't that important. Although a guy taller than me is a plus. Now, if you were a Harry Dresden clone, I'd be drooling at your feet. I couldn't get along without a book, my pillow, my chapstick.
I need a man who's strong enough in himself to be my partner, not my boss. Bossy is OK in certain situations though. I'd like someone to lean on once in a while and I want him to know he can lean on me when needed. I want someone who's looking to be part of a couple and he must be financially responsible, as I am. I'd like someone to laugh and cry with and make life more fun by sharing it with him. He must be honest. I'd like a life partner. But just a guy to talk to and be friends with would work too. Smokers need not apply--my eyes would swell shut and I'd have trouble breathing around you.
