Not sure how I feel about the whole online social networking phenomenon but was intrigued by the opportunity to chat with like-minded souls through this medium and this site in particular.
I'm a true romantic, a visual artist at heart, graphic artist by day. I also enjoy creative writing, reading, good movies, NYC, theater, music, history, museums, a keen intellect and good sense of humor. I'm interested in living life, and experiencing its many passions - I love learning new things, and have a constant curiosity of how things work (or don't work - and why), self analytical, problem solver, dreamer, creative & sensitive. I also believe in appreciating the absurdity in the world - but never take for granted the simple beauty in it.
I have a healthy disdain for authority (not in a scary way), don't believe in following others blindly and believe we are all capable of creating and finding our own paths...no need to take the one well trodden.
Music includes (Off the top of my head) - Tom Waits, The Pogues, NY Dolls, The Clash, Bowie, Punk, The Smiths, vintage Ska, Dylan, Beatles, Jazz, classical...and on, and on... (And yes, I still have my Judas Priest and Black Sabbath records - but couldn't tell you the last time I listened to them)
Art - Everything from the early great masters to the modern day abstractionists.
