I'm probably the only Mensan you'll ever know who owns a maul, a life-size replica of Han Solo in carbonite, and a Nerf® gun! I consider clothes- and shoe-shopping a necessary chore; I much prefer tromping around an architectural salvage yard. I love ebay, auctions, garage sales, and second-hand book stores. No diamond necklaces for me...a good used book, and I'm smiling.
I live a life of creative expression: in my home, in my businesses, with family and friends. I am fortunate to possess a creative mind, and blessed that I can use it to bring joy to those around me.

I enjoy books, movies and music...going to concerts/theater, volunteering, hiking, visiting with family and friends, and hosting dinner parties. I alternate those activities with traveling to Europe to visit my son and his wife, who live in Belgium. I've bungee jumped, whitewater-rafted (even though I can't swim!), tandem-skydived (okay, even though I can't fly...), and flown in an open cockpit biplane--much to my grandmother's horror.
I love architecture of all kinds, renovating old buildings (won a local Historic Preservation Award for one), and making people smile. Life is short, so it should be filled with as much happiness as possible!
Hmmm...I don't really know what to say without sounding shallow. Though my heart tells me looks are superficial, my head sometimes judges people by their aesthetic appeal. So go right ahead and judge me by mine, and if the representation of my biological form ignites your synapses, contact me.
I enjoy a fulfilling life. But I miss sharing experiences and creating memories with a partner who is my lover and best friend.
