I believe that a woman should be treated with honor and dignity, and that the little things ARE the big things...like pulling her chair for her, rising when she leaves the room or enters it, taking her coat, walking on the outside of the sidewalk next to her. I believe that true intimacy can only occur when two people truly know each other deep down, and that the real joy is in the discovering and the adventure of exploring. I am a passionate man and readily admit to being a romantic man. I love to write, and I love the power and beauty of words well-crafted. I believe that words can be used to draw pictures through stories and allegories that can touch our souls. And I believe that sharing experiences and good conversation are vital to a healthy and vibrant relationship.
I've been told I resemble Dick Van Dyke and Al Gore, both during a time when they were a bit younger. I think one of the first things people notice about me is my eyes--deep blue, searching, smiling, open. Appearance is important to me. People who take care of themselves are people who have a high self-esteem and it carries over into other aspects of their lives.
