In a summary - I’m motivated, and laid back at the same time, if that makes any sense. I like to talk with just about anyone who has vision or is creative, deep, intelligent, artistic, expressive, or analytical. A huge fan of a good conversation & sharp humor, especially when it’s a topic I’m passionate about, but I can contribute perspective and humor to just about any conversation, and love making myself and others laugh, and see another side of things. I’ve been in Mensa since childhood but most people wouldn't have guessed it – to tell you the truth, some are nothing short of completely confounded by it.
My weekends are a great time for relaxing at home or in the yard with the music playing (as it usually does in my house) occasionally a few friends around the grill, scouting out new restaurants, catching up with old friends over dinner and drinks, or making new ones. What you choose to do for fun, plays a much smaller role in enjoying it than the people you choose to do it with, but it's always better when you're on the same page as the person you’re with when it comes to the things you're passionate about.
Me as a list? I:
- Like NYC, but these days I’d rather go to New Hope.
- Am in shell-toes and jeans around the house, but can clean up and show well.
- Am a night owl, and when circumstances permit work solo, late into the evening.
- Like taking taking day-trips & photographs, but haven't done enough of either lately.
- Confess that If there was some type of an I.Q. test for sports, I’d have to wear a helmet.
- Take advantage of every BBQ I can this time of the year to catch up with friends and family.
- Fresh water fish - mostly because it’s a great chance to unplug, and it reminds me of being a little kid.
- Go camping once or twice a summer with the same friends I do a few mini-vacations with throughout the year; many of whom I grew up with.
- Always had a thing for the little Goth girl when was a little boy, and in some ways, some things never change.
- Have a lifelong passion for music - different genres, mostly female vocalists from Patsy Cline to Portishead, and both goth & hardcore / Industrial, trance, techno & tribal from Underworld to Unexist.
Who am I looking for?
Starting with the big stuff, and ending on a lighter note - A peculiar sense of humor, a different perspective than most people have. A woman that knows she's not exactly like everyone else, and wouldn’t have it any other way, but would enjoy life a little more with someone at her side that could actually see what it is that most people are missing about her, and adores her for it. Beautiful inside and out in some way, but not at the expense of being adorable, even if you’d never in a million years admit you fit that description. Likes to have conversations - not with everyone that walks past, and the lamppost, but with a certain type of person. Strong in moral integrity, and the ability to tell right from wrong as life calls for decisions.
