Like most everyone here on, I am trying to find someone with whom my collective idiosyncrasies mesh. I will confess that I have started to lose hope and faith in the entire process (dating, that is), but I refuse to throw in the towel yet.
About me: I am currently working on my PhD in Information Systems (stop me if any of this gets too exciting). I have a Bachelor of Music degree and an MBA, both from Arizona State University. As my life seems to have been deemed property of the university, I am employed in the duties associated with my degree of choice -- mainly revolving around teaching undergraduate courses and performing research. I previously worked as a professional actor/singer for nearly ten years before realizing that I wanted to have a real life. While major change is very difficult, I am glad to have made the choice to change the course of my life. All the same, I feel that I am richer for some of the experiences from my life in the arts.
My hobbies are vast and diverse. My first love is music. I sing as well as play a number of instruments. Music is an excellent diversion from the hectic pace of real life. I enjoy movies a great deal, am an avid reader and I admit that I enjoy video games immensely. I also enjoy dining out in basically any environment where good food/drink can be coupled with conversation.
