Looking for a close relationship with someone like myself: intellectually inclined, yet realistic, goal oriented & hard working. Someone to become good friends with, to share our ordeals & provide mutual support - get to know each other's lives. I was a software developer (computer programmer) in the business world for most of my working career, now turned Technical Writer. So I'm a well-grounded person with business background. But when it's time for fun: I'm VERY creative with a love for dance (a regular hobby), playing music, reading, comedy, theatre, write poetry & enjoy almost any creative outlet. Those are some of my interests, but one can't satisfy them all. Work & responsibility come first always.
I enjoy learning about or exploring almost anything, with a particular interest in science. I also try to keep up with what's going on in the world in general. Socially conscious & compassionate, I volunteer with animals & more. I love nature & regular exercise (want to find an exercise partner too!). Health conscious & disciplined. I'm easy going, yet driven & passionate under the easy-going surface. I love humor & comedy and can be silly & funny when I'm not working on something. I think the best comics have keen insight into human behavior and know how to twist things to make us laugh at our own foibles. Humor is SO therapeutic!
AND...I really miss being in a relationship and being close to someone. If I found that connection, I would not continue looking. I'd rather be IN a realtionship than looking for one. Am also Very sensuous and coordinated. Looking for someone with generally similar qualities as myself. But the most important quality I look for in a man (besides decency) is INTELLIGENCE. I value education very highly & have taken my own education very seriously-both professionally & personally. I truly believe that education broadens our minds, can deepen our values & make us better people. There are many fun ways to keep educating ourselves & it has the added benefit of making conversation much more intriguing!
