This year, I did my third successful on-line chat with a major radio personality. The topics this time were "Singin' In the Rain" and the films of Hitchcock.
I don't resemble historical figures like Washington or Lincoln. I strongly resemble Orson Welles, my friends tell me. Think "Citizen Kane" or "The Third Man", not "Touch of Evil". People notice right away how I make them feel welcome. My smile and sense of humor put everyone at ease, yet I also show sensitivity to the needs of others. Appearance is important, because it shows a good sense of self and a respect for others. However, I prefer the word "radiance" to "appearance": the "glow" that makes someone special, beyond surface attributes.
My ideal match would be a female counterpart, not a competitor. I'm looking for a life partner, but I know we must start out as friends. She should have radiance (as opposed to "knockout beauty", though that's certainly not bad). Her sense of humor should be sly, but not sarcastic.
