Graphic designer. experimental artist. photographer. occasional writer. audiophile. All around strange guy but loveable. Huge dork and proud of it.
I'm a nice guy, I promise. Don't be wierded out by the goth clothes and orange hair one day, and polo shirts and khakis the next. It's a phase I'm going through. I haven't quite figured out who I'm supposed to be yet.
I'm very respectful of women and am kind of on the submissive side, which may or may not be your thing. This unfortunately has meant that a few times I've been mistaken for a doormat. But I'm working on the self esteem thing.
I am a hopeless music addict, it's my cocaine/weed/meth/ecstasy/LSD all rolled into one. I'm a slave to my iPod like anyone else, but I really enjoy taking out a dusty dinner-plate size piece of vinyl and watching it twirl around on a turntable once in a while (these tend to be much cheaper than CDs or the iTunes Store, in case you didn't know) You'd probably find me raiding garage sales and farmer's markets looking for these relics. I'm honestly the only man I ever met who could have "Tom Sawyer" by Rush stuck in his head while having sex with a girl. I'm also probably the only man under 40 who still makes out to 80's songs by Journey and Boston.
I'm the classic example of a starving artist, a guy who worked his ass off for 4 years to get a college degree and got the big ol' finger from Uncle Sam and had to move back in with his parents. Yep, sorry to disappoint ladies. But I do have a pretty long leash at home and I only listen to my family about 1% of the time (usually to my detriment) So let's go for joyrides to Wawa at 1AM, run out to seedy heavy metal bars or goth nightclubs and get crazy! You're only young once.
Really though, I have a very good reason why I live at home. I have had a rough 3 years and had some real ****ty jobs combined with some health problems. Still working on conquering them, not on the way to total independence just yet. All I ask is some patience.
My mood and temperament changes often. I can go to a heavy metal concert and get my ears blown out one day and go for a quiet stroll through a park or museum the next. I'm a history buff and like to hang out in old places like graveyards, these also make for great photo ops. Really I'd like a girl who's confident in herself and wouldn't mind being a model on occasion. You'd be surprised what the right outfit/props/environment can do.
I'm actually not single/not looking right now, but I saw this website and you can never have too many dorky friends...
